The mountain forms part of Table Mountain National Park, which is globally recognized for its biodiversity what with its truly unique and incredibly beautiful fauna and flora. The park encompasses the Table Mountain chain stretching from Signal Hill in the north to Cape Point in the south including the seas and coastline of the peninsula.
Bo-Kaap is known for its brightly colored homes and cobblestoned streets. The area is traditionally a multicultural neighborhood, and 56.9% of its population identify as Muslim.
The V&A Waterfront is one of Africa's most visited destinations with almost 24 million visitors annually. It is situated in the oldest working harbor in the southern hemisphere, with the iconic Table Mountain as its backdrop and extensive views of the ocean, city bowl, and mountain peaks.
Kirstenbosch is one of nine national botanical gardens in South Africa. The name Kirstenbosch first appeared in documents from the late 1700s. However, it is not known where the name came from. Cecil Rhodes, a British businessman and politician, bought the land that is now Kirstenbosch in 1895.
Groot Constantia is South Africa's oldest wine producing estate, (est: 1685). Situated 20 minutes from the Cape Town CBD and one of Cape Town's Big 7 tourist attractions, Groot Constantia is a must visit for the whole family. With two outstanding restaurants, Jonkershuis and Simon's, wine tastings, chocolate and wine pairing, cellar tours and a museum that reminds one of a bygone era, this beautiful historic winery is a popular attraction that exudes natural beauty.
