Day 2: Cape Town City and Stellenbosch Spend the morning exploring Cape Town at your own pace. Choose from optional activities like visiting Table Mountain, Robben Island, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, or hiking Lion’s Head. In the late afternoon, travel to Stellenbosch, the Winelands Capital. Day 3: Stellenbosch Walking Tour and Wine Tasting Start your day with a relaxed 3-hour historical walking tour of Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa. Discover its rich history and charming architecture. Then, head to one of the country’s best wine farms for a wine tasting and lunch. Return to Stellenbosch to pack for your journey to Hermanus in the late afternoon. Day 4: Hermanus Whale Watching and Oudtshoorn Wake up early in Hermanus for a chance to spot humpback whales from the shore or your hotel room. You can also book an optional whale-watching boat tour (weather-dependent). In the late afternoon, set off for Oudtshoorn, driving through the famed R62 wine route. Day 5: Cango Caves and Plettenberg Bay Visit the world-famous Cango Caves in Oudtshoorn, home to limestone formations over 800,000 years old. Enjoy an early lunch at a local ostrich farm before driving back to the coast, passing through the majestic Swartberg and Outeniqua Mountain passes. Arrive in Plettenberg Bay for a restful night’s sleep. Day 6: Plettenberg Bay, Tsitsikamma, and Knysna Spend the morning at the beautiful beach in Plettenberg Bay. After lunch, choose to visit either Monkeyland or Birds of Eden, followed by a visit to Jukani Wildlife Sanctuary. End the day in Knysna, visiting the Knysna Heads and checking into your lodgings.
