Description
Begin with a pickup from your accommodation in Cape Town. Drive through the city center, where your guide will share the history of the area. Make your first stop at Bo-Kaap, known as the Cape Malay Quarter. Take a memorable photo with the colorful houses and see the historical homes and heritage of the locals who lived there. Many of these families are from Indonesia and Malaysia. Get yourself a Cape Malay treat, such as a samoosa and koeksister.
Next, stop by Truth Coffee, where you can savor world-class coffee blends, whether you prefer dark and intense or smooth and balanced. Depart from Truth Coffee and proceed to Maiden's Cove along the Atlantic seaboard.
Arrive at Maiden's Cove for amazing photo views of the Twelve Apostles and Camp's Bay Beach. As you depart from Camps Bay, proceed to Seal Island for a 40-minute boat cruise to Duiker Island Seal Colony, where you can view thousands of wild Cape Fur Seals.
Drive along Chapman's Peak Drive and stop at a viewpoint for a few Instagram-worthy pictures of ocean views. Depart from the viewpoint and proceed to Noordhoek Beach, where you can see the shipwreck from the 1900s. Admire the turquoise color of the water, caused by the vegetation beneath the sea.
Continue to Boulders Beach in Simon's Town, home to the rare and charming African Penguins. Enjoy breathtaking views from the Penguin Viewing Area and along three scenic boardwalks.
Continue to Cape Point, the southernmost tip of Africa, where the icy Benguela and warm Agulhas currents converge. This iconic landmark offers breathtaking views and unforgettable experiences. Hike to the Cape Point Lighthouse from the Cape of Good Hope, taking in the stunning scenery along the way. Alternatively, ride the Flying Dutchman Funicular for a convenient and scenic ascent. For lunch, enjoy the panoramic views at the Two Oceans Restaurant or grab a takeaway at the nearby eatery.
Your last stop will be Muizenberg Beach, where you can view the colorful beach huts and take a few pictures while walking on the white sand beach. Finally, make your way back to your accommodation.
