Description

The first stop on this 9-hour day tour is a quick photo stop in Bo-kaap (colorful houses). You will learn the history of the area and also have the opportunity to walk and take photos of the colorful houses. Continue to stop for photos in Camps Bay. At Maidens Cove, enjoy the view of Camps Bay Beach, the Twelve Apostles Mountain Range, and Lion's Head. Drive along Victoria Road, passing exclusive residential areas en route to Hout Bay. At the harbor, take a 45-minute return boat cruise to the Seal colony (optional, at your own expense). Or spend quality time at the flea market shopping for souvenirs to take home. Continue along Chapman's Peak Drive for spectacular views. Your guide will give you a photo opportunity to stop to enjoy the views of Hout Bay and the long beach. At the end of Chapman's Peak Drive, stop for coffee and snack at Noordhoek Farm Village. Browse the shops around as you may find a gift to take home or use the stop as bathroom time. A 50-minute drive, at the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, your guide will provide an overview of the area. Take photos on the famous signboard at the southwestern tip of the African continent. At Cape Point, take the funicular to the lighthouse, or a 15-minute hike with great photo spots if you prefer. Stop to enjoy lunch in Simons Town. Not too far from the lunch stop, visit the Boulders Beach Penguin Colony to see and learn about the sea birds. On the drive back, stop to see the colorful beach huts and learn about the shark spotters who help prevent shark attacks at Muizenberg Beach. You will be taken back to the pickup location or with the option to change the drop-off point within our pickup area.
