Description

We meet at the cable car station and begin with a safety brief before we set off hiking. The hike starts with a nice steep slope leading us to the scrambles. As we get higher the scrambles become more technical in nature. Along the way there are some chains and staples bolted to the wall to aid ascent. The last part of the hike takes us round to the back of Table Mountain and we end the hike with a Cable Car ride down (At your cost.) Along the way we will take regular stops, breaking for water, food and fun filled photos. We will also stop to discuss the plants, rocks, animals and rich history of Table Mountain. The hike is a challenging one, but I am there to help as a Registered Hiking Guide (Reg. WC13340.)

Registered Hiking Guide advising you on the technical scrambles and apparatus. Knowledgeable in local plants, animals, rocks, natural formations as well as history and culture. Regular breaks at the scenic spots for photos. Comfortable with any of the dangerous animals of Table Mountain to keep you safe. Safety gear on hand to assist as we meet more technical scrambles. Wilderness First Responder qualified guide with liability cover for peace of mind. A guide knows the route like the back of his hand and is comfortable leading even in low visibility conditions e.g. mist

Important Information

• It is recommended that you bring approximately 1.5 liters of water each. High energy snacks are the best. Don't underestimate the South African sun.
