Itinerary This is a typical itinerary for this product. Travellers will be pick up by a Private professional Tour guide from the hotel at 8:00 or 8: 15 and will be taken to Nelson Mandela Gateway ( Clocktower ) situated at the V & A Waterfront for a ferry ride which will be leave at 9am to the Island. NB: Travellers will be given a pre-booked ticket and all you have to do to please have your PASSPORT handy. Travellers will embarked to a 9am ferry for a ferry ride and sail for 30 to 45 minutes to Robben Island Museum. Upon arrival at the Robben Island will disembarked and take a short walk to the Bus. There's 2 Tours at Robben Island: 1- Bus Tour and 2-Prison Tour. 1) Bus Tour : where travellers will met a step on resident tour guide which will be conducting the bus tour , travellers will be driven around the Island to the limestone quarry where prisoners used to till the land and Sbukwe house etc.... 2) Prison Tour : where Travellers will do a guided tour with one of the former political prisoners which was kept in section B and Travelers will have the opportunity to visit some of the prison cells and including the prison cells of Mr Nelson Mandela and travellers will take a Long Walk to Freedom at the end of the tour to embark in ferry to head back to Waterfront at Nelson Mandela Gateway your initial tour guide will be waiting for you at Nelson Mandela Gateway. Duration: 4 hours Lunch time at V&A Waterfront on your own account and shopping Duration: 1 hour and half Travellers will be taken a short and optional Diamond factory tour to see how the South African Diamond is processed were by the Diamond experts will explain to you about Cullinan and tanzanite and you will have a deep explanation of 4 c's and have an opportunity to purchase something will suit you best such as chain, engagement ring etc... Duration: 30 minutes Followed with a small city tour orientation pass CCIC, Statue of the first Portuguese Navigator, J V riebeck & his wife statues, Golden acker, Castle of Good Hope, City Hall, District 6 Museum, House of the parliament, Slove Lodge, Company Garden Stop At: Bo-Kaap great opportunity for photos of the beautiful colorful houses which was built and leased to slaves. were brought from Indonesia etc to work as slave. Duration : 25 minutes. Thereafter drive to Table Mountain National Park, Western Cape. NB : Table Mountain cable car tickets are not included in this particular tour , for that reason we recommend clients to purchase their own Table Mountain tickets online prior the tour at www.tablemountain.net (morning ticket ) to avoir traffic. Our accredited guide will accompany you from the lower cable car to the upper cable car and to majestic Table Mountain Park also known as one of the seven new wonders of nature where by you will be given an overview or you will be explained how to explore the National Park and then you will be given the meeting point and time.
