Hike the iconic Kasteelspoort trail on Table Mountain for lush landscapes, city views, and the famous Diving Board rock over a cliff. Enjoy stunning vistas of Camps Bay, Lion’s Head, and Clifton Beaches, culminating in breathtaking panoramas of the Cape Peninsula. Perfect for all hikers, Kasteelspoort offers a friendly adventure in Cape Town's scenic wonders. Starting at the beginning of the Pipe track follow this iconic route around the Western side of TM to the start of Kasteelspoort. This is where the ascent starts, once up Kasteels we will go through the valley of the Red Gods and up some stunning ladders to the upper cable station. We will take the cable car down and return to our vehicles. Starting point: Kloof Nek parking lot, Tavelberg Road (the Pipe Track) Finishing point: Upper Cable Car station. When: Seven days a week, year-round, subject to availability. Weather: The weather on table mountain can change in an instant so a light mid-layer and a rain jacket will ensure that you stay dry and warm if we find our selves in between the clouds.
