Directions to Grand Café and Beach
Grand Café and Beach is Cape Town's first beach café, and over the years it has become one of the most popular restaurant, bar and function venue in the city. The Grand Café and Beach is located at Granger Bay adjacent to Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront . Reclaimed sea sand has been used to create a gorgeous private beach that overlooks Table Bay - and the view and setting is simply phenomenal. Parisian café chairs, red tumblers, beach umbrellas and sea sand combine to deliver an experience that is as stylish as it is trendy and fun.
Reservations should be made via the reservation form below.
Grand Café & Beach is the newest of the additions to the extremely successful Grand Café and Rooms in Plettenberg Bay and the Grand Café & Room in Camps Bay, and true to form, they've ticked all the Grand boxes.
During summer, there's no better way to enjoy the sunshine than with a cocktail or two under a large beach umbrella, with your feet kissing the warm sand. Combine the cocktails with their famous French square pizza, topped with salmon, mozzarella, rocket, chives, capers and tomatoes, and you'll be in opulent beach café heaven.
Executive Chef Seelan Sundoo has been developing his French cuisine influenced menu for many years, and he serves up a range of dishes catering to most palates.
The menu features everything from their extravagant pizzas, to the delicious bouillabaisse and the exceptionally popular steak béarnaise with chips. This chunky fillet is grilled to one's choice and served with a delicious béarnaise sauce, and is wonderfully tender and perfectly grilled.
Desserts are an equally extravagant affair, with the berry pavlova right up there with the best in Cape Town.
The thing about Grand Café and Beach is that it has to be seen, and experienced, to be believed. It's one of Cape Town's most popular restaurants, and as such, it is essential to book, which can be done directly via the online enquiry form below. Of course, our full Grand Café and Beach virtual tour, under the Multimedia tab above, will whet your appetite before your visit to this unique Cape Town restaurant.
