Tour Description
Day 1: Your tour begins with a 6:30am pick-up from your accommodation by a private guide. Travel along the scenic N2 route through Caledon and Riversdale, stopping briefly at Albertina Aloe Vera factory for coffee. Enjoy lunch at Botlierskop Game Reserve between 1:00pm and 2:00pm, followed by a 4x4 open truck game drive starting at 2:30pm to see the Big 5. The day ends with a transfer to your accommodation in Knysna and a dinner drop-off between 6:00pm and 8:00pm.
Day 2: After breakfast and check-out, take a scenic drive past Knysna Heads, followed by a guided walk in the Garden of Eden. Visit Birds of Eden, the Southern Hemisphere’s largest bird sanctuary, and Monkeyland. Continue to Tsitsikamma National Park for a 900-meter hike to the suspension bridge over Storms River Mouth. Lunch is served at Cattle Baron restaurant before heading to Oudtshoorn for an overnight hotel stay and dinner.
Day 3: After breakfast and pick-up, visit the historic Cango Caves for a guided tour. Explore Cango Wildlife Ranch to see over 90 species, including the White Bengal Tiger and crocodiles. Spend two hours on a 4x4 game drive at Ostrich Show Farm in Oudtshoorn, then enjoy lunch there. The tour concludes with a return drive to Cape Town via the R62, including comfort stops.
