Your Adventure Begins:
Your day starts with a 10h00 pick-up from your accommodation in Cape Town. Sit back and enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive to Aquila Private Game Reserve.
We drive through the heart of our beautiful Winelands, passing the historic towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, with endless vineyards, grape plantations, and breathtaking mountain passes — perfect for photos!
En route, we make a 30-minute refreshment stop in Worcester to stretch your legs, use the facilities, and grab snacks.
Welcome to Aquila Private Game Reserve:
Upon arrival at Aquila, you will be warmly welcomed with a welcome drink provided by Aquila, followed by a delicious lunch buffet (included). Take your time to relax and take in the stunning Karoo surroundings.

At 14h00 - Your Choice of Adventure (Included):
Enjoy an exhilarating 1h30 Horseback Riding OR 1h30 Quad Biking experience through the reserve. A unique way to explore the wilderness before your safari!
After your ride, enjoy some leisure time at the lodge — swim in the pool, relax at the bar, and enjoy the views.
At 16h00 - The Main Event:
Embark on a thrilling Big 5 Sunset Safari Game Drive (16h00 - 18h30) in an open 4x4 with a professional ranger. Spot lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and leopards as the African sun sets over the Karoo — a magical moment!
After the safari, we begin our comfortable drive back to Cape Town.
