Description

Your tour begins with a 9:00am pick-up from your accommodation in Cape Town. Start with a brief city orientation drive to see key historical monuments.

The first stop is Bo-Kaap, the Cape Malay Quarter, where you can photograph colourful houses and learn about their history. From there, travel along the Atlantic Seaboard, passing Clifton and Camps Bay, known for its affluent neighbourhood and scenic beachfront backed by the Twelve Apostles mountains.

Continue through Llandudno and arrive at Hout Bay Harbour. Here you can take a 45-minute boat cruise to Seal Island to view the seal colony. If you prefer not to join the boat trip, visit the market or curio shop for refreshments and shopping.

Next, drive along Chapmans Peak Drive with a stop at the viewpoint to photograph the coastline and ocean views. An optional stop at Noordhoek Farm Village offers coffee from Village Roast or ice cream at Kirsten’s Kick Ass Ice Cream.

Visit the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve to explore historical monuments of Diaz and Da Gama, and take photos by the Cape of Good Hope sign. Then proceed to Cape Point where you can walk to the lighthouse or take an optional funicular ride (additional cost). Observe the meeting point of the Benguela and Agulhas ocean currents from the lighthouse. Lunch options at Cape Point include the Two Oceans Restaurant or takeaway from an informal eatery.

Finally, visit Boulders Beach to view African penguins on the beach and boardwalk. Return to Cape Town passing through Fish Hoek and Muizenburg before drop-off at your accommodation.
