Join this 6-hour afternoon Cape Peninsula sunset tour departing from Cape Town city center. The journey includes the following key stops:
- Muizenberg Beach: Site of historical significance where the first battle between the Dutch and British occurred, leading to British control of the colony.
- Boulders Beach: Visit the African penguin colony, also called Chakas penguins, known for forming lifelong pairs. Entrance fees are not included. Guests can get close to or swim near the penguins.
- Cape of Good Hope and Lighthouse: The meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, commemorating Portuguese explorers who established global trade routes. The area includes a notable rock formation and the nearby ghost lighthouse linked to 16th-century shipwrecks. Entrance fees are not included.
- Red Hill Township: One of South Africa’s newer townships, established about 10 years ago. You will stop to enjoy a 20-minute sunset view over Simon’s Town from this vantage point, the third town founded by the Dutch.
- Chapman’s Peak Drive: A scenic coastal drive with a stop at a viewpoint rated among the world’s best marine drives.
