Description

The tour departs Cape Town around 8:00 AM and explores the landscapes of the Cape Peninsula.

First, visit Bo-Kaap to photograph its colourful houses, then enjoy a scenic drive along Chapman's Peak, Hout Bay, and Camps Bay. Stop at Camps Bay Beach and Maiden’s Cove to view the Twelve Apostles mountain range.

An optional 45-minute return boat cruise to the Seal Island colony is available from Hout Bay Harbour. Continue with photo stops along Chapman’s Peak Drive before reaching Cape Point in the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Look out for ostrich, antelope, and other wildlife. During whale season (July to December), watch for whales offshore.

Walk approximately 15 minutes to the Cape Point Lighthouse, with photo opportunities along the way, or take the funicular (optional). Proceed to the southwesternmost point of the African continent for photos at the landmark sign.

Lunch is at your own expense. Afterward, visit Simon’s Town to view British colonial heritage buildings, followed by a visit to Boulders Beach to see and learn about the African penguins at the penguin colony.

Return to Cape Town via the scenic Marine Drive, stopping for a photo at the colourful huts on Muizenberg Beach. Drop-off is just before 6:00 PM.
