Your tour begins with hotel or designated location pickup in Cape Town between 07:30 and 08:00 AM. Transportation is by sedan, SUV, or minibus depending on group size.
The first stop is Tokara Wine Estate on the N2, known for high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc. After your wine tasting, you will visit Franschhoek town center for lunch and free time. The town offers cafes, art galleries, jewelry stores, leather shops, boutiques, and a chocolate shop.
After lunch, continue to the Franschhoek Wine Tram terminals for a hop-on hop-off tram ticket. Your guide will explain the tram timetable. The tram ride links several farms, taking about 8 minutes between stops. Guests may visit up to two farms or a third if time permits.
On the return trip, there is a stop at a former prison where Nelson Mandela was held, featuring a statue of Mandela. Your guide will share information about Mandela's imprisonment and the site's historical significance.
