Description
The tour begins at the CYCLING FRIENDS shop. You will cycle along the Atlantic coast, passing Camps Bay. Near Llandudno, you will see the Twelve Apostles hotel and the Antipolis wreck. The Antipolis is a Greek oil tanker that ran aground near Victoria Road in Oudekraal and has been off the South African coast for 45 years. It washed ashore in January 2022 during strong ocean waves.
After descending towards Hout Bay, you will pass through its fishing village, famous for the harbour market. Enjoy beach views and a wide panorama of Hout Bay before reaching Chapman’s Peak after about 4 kilometers. Following a break, you will return to the CYCLING FRIENDS shop on the same route.
