Description
This full-day tour departs from Cape Town with hotel pickup. Travel along the M5 and M4 routes past Muizenberg, St. James, and Fish Hoek beaches on the False Bay coastline towards Boulders Beach Penguin Colony.
Pass the colorful beach huts of Muizenberg and stop at St. James Beach for photos. Then continue through Kalk Bay, Fish Hoek, and Simon's Town beaches before arriving at Boulders Beach to view approximately 3,000 endangered African penguins in their natural habitat.
Walk along a boardwalk through the colony where penguins swim in False Bay waters and rest on granite boulders. The tour concludes at Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point Nature Reserve. Pause for photos at the Cape of Good Hope sign and explore the reserve while your guide shares stories about explorers Bartolomeu Dias and Vasco da Gama.
Look out for fynbos vegetation, over 250 bird species including ostriches, as well as buck, baboons, and the Cape mountain zebra. Return to Cape Town via the scenic coastal Old Cape Road.
