Description
Start with a shared transfer from your Cape Town hotel to the Silo District, where you will be escorted to the Nelson Mandela Gateway. Board a shared ferry to Robben Island Museum. A former political prisoner will guide the island tour. Note that your tour guide or driver will not join the museum tour.
The full tour lasts approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes, including hotel pick-up. On Robben Island, you will travel by bus to visit key sites, including Nelson Mandela's prison cell and the Long Walk to Freedom exhibit.
Upon returning to the Jetty, your tour guide/driver will meet you at the Nelson Mandela Gateway entrance for the next stop: the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. This destination features a working harbour with shops, entertainment, hotels, offices, and residences, set against scenic mountain and sea views.
