Description
At the meeting point, you will be welcomed by the Tandem Flight Co team, look for Mike or staff wearing blue t-shirts. You will be assigned to an experienced pilot who will brief you on the flight and assist with paperwork.
Your pilot will prepare you for the tandem paragliding experience, explaining the takeoff procedure and safety measures. A short run is sometimes necessary before takeoff, and the team will guide you throughout to ensure a smooth launch.
Once airborne, you will settle comfortably into the harness and enjoy the flight, experiencing the sensation of flying. The crew uses state-of-the-art equipment and has extensive knowledge of the flying locations to maintain safety standards.
This is a Tandem Paragliding Instructional Flight led by a qualified Tandem Flight Instructor. This experience serves as the first step toward becoming a licensed paraglider pilot. The operation is a registered Declared Training Organisation (SACAA/0024/DTO) under the South African Civil Aviation Authority, governed by the South African Hanggliding and Paragliding Association (SAHPA).
