Description
Depart from Cape Town and travel to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost point of Africa, visiting the lighthouse along the way. Stop at Betty’s Bay to observe the African penguin colony that inhabits the area. Continue to Hermanus, recognized as one of the best land-based whale watching spots where Southern right whales calve.
Overnight at a 4-star guest house near Cape Agulhas. The following day, proceed to Garden Route Game Lodge, a 4-star safari destination. Check into award-winning chalets or lodge rooms, with time to enjoy the lodge facilities and surroundings.
In the afternoon, join a 2-hour game drive in an open safari vehicle led by a local guide, spotting elephants, rhinos, lions, hippos, herds of antelope, and other wildlife. Dinner consists of a 3-course meal at the lodge. Overnight at Garden Route Game Lodge.
Start the next morning with an early game drive to spot additional wildlife followed by breakfast. Return to Cape Town via Route 62, known for its scenic mountain passes and charming towns. The route includes wine tasting and exploration before arriving at your accommodation between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
The itinerary may be reversed depending on accommodation availability.
