Description
We set off to explore the serene beauty of the West Coast, beginning with a scenic photo stop at Blaauwberg, where the breathtaking view of Table Mountain across the bay provides the perfect backdrop for unforgettable pictures. From here, we journey to the !Khwa ttu San Culture and Education Centre for an immersive cultural experience. Guided by members of the San community, we gain insight into their ancient traditions, tracking skills, language, and way of life, offering a deep appreciation for one of Southern Africa’s oldest cultures. After an enriching morning, we enjoy a delicious lunch surrounded by the tranquility of the West Coast landscape. The afternoon takes us to the pristine lagoon of the West Coast National Park, where turquoise waters and white sand dunes create the ideal setting to unwind, swim, or simply soak up the peaceful atmosphere. We end the day with a visit to the Atlantis Dunes — a photographer’s paradise of rolling white sand and dramatic light. Here, we capture the final memories of our coastal adventure before returning, filled with the spirit of the West Coast’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.
