Description
The hike starts at the cable car station with a safety briefing. The route begins with a steep slope leading to increasingly technical scrambles aided by chains and staples bolted into the rock face. The final section takes you to the back of Table Mountain, where the hike ends with an optional cable car descent (ticket not included).
Regular stops allow time for water, food, and photography. The guide shares information about the mountain’s plants, rocks, animals, and history throughout the hike. This challenging route is led by a Registered Hiking Guide (Reg. WC13340) who provides support and expertise.
