Directions to Mount Royal Golf and Country Estate
Mount Royal Golf Estate is located on the N7 north of Malmesbury , just outside Cape Town. Commuting into town is faster from here than from other suburbs within Cape Town itself. Mount Royal combines the best of country living with the ease of city life and delivers a lifestyle of security, comfort and beauty.
The Swartland is slowly becoming the hottest new investment area around Cape Town. Rolling hills, natural clean air and easy, quick access to the city, make Mount Royal a really good option for the future. Mount Royal is planned around environmentally and aesthetically pleasing criteria, making use of the golf course and the neighbouring Renosterveld Conservation area to create a responsible urban development.
Mount Royal makes provision for homes being designed in 1 of 4 architectural styles, namely English Country (a cottage style); Rural Victorian; Rural Tuscan or Provencal, and Cape Vernacular. Styles.
Like many of the golf estates around the world, Mount Royal has included advanced access control systems, biometric readers for easy activation of automatic booms by residents and contractors, remote screening, CCTV event recording, security officers, double electrified 2,1 meter high fence and Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with generator back-up. And it is a fact that crime is lower in Malmesbury than in Cape Town.
The Golf Estate will be built around the existing Malmesbury Golf Course. The existing 9 holes will have an additional 9 added from September 2011. They are being designed by Mark Müller, who is considered one of South Africa's leading golf course designers, and has designed and built golf courses with Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player. He designs golf courses around existing site features and blends a flowing golf course with the natural environment ensuring a good game, protection of natural resources and a challenge to all golfers
The Malmesbury Golf Club will remain financially independent of the Mount Royal Home Owners Association. This will help ensure that home owners will benefit from a low levy. Central to the ethos of Mount Royal Golf & Country Estate is balancing secure living with environmental consciousness. In addition to the 18 hole golf course, the perimeter encloses natural green belts formed around perennial as well as seasonal watercourses.
