Your day begins with a 6:00 AM hotel pickup in Cape Town or nearby areas. Travel along the Atlantic Seaboard with mountain views on one side and ocean views on the other. Pause at Maiden's Cover for photos featuring the Twelve Apostles Mountain Range. Pass through Clifton, Camps Bay, Llandudno, and Hout Bay before stopping on Chapman's Peak Drive for pictures along this scenic route.
Visit Boulders Beach to see the resident penguin colony. Observe the penguins as they swim and interact in their natural habitat. Next, explore the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve on a guided tour and stop for photos at this well-known landmark. Continue to Cape Point, where you can hike to the lighthouse or take the optional funicular ride.
At 10:30 AM, arrive at the Nelson Mandela Gateway to catch the 11:00 AM ferry to Robben Island. An ex-prisoner will guide you through the prison, including Nelson Mandela's cell. Return to the mainland by approximately 3:00 PM, where your guide will transfer you back to your hotel.
