Along the way, step beyond the standard route to discover some of the mountain’s lesser-known places, including a hidden cave and a dramatic viewpoint known as the Diving Board, where the scenery makes for some seriously memorable photographs.
Among the remnants of the old Kasteelspoort industrial cableway, uncover the story of the remarkable operation that once carried workers and heavy materials up the mountain during the construction of the reservoirs in the 1890s.
