One of the highlights of visiting the Bergkelder is ambling through the tranquil underground bottle maturation cellars where thousands of bottles of fine wine are mellowed to perfection. A fine selection of wines can be tasted at leisure by candlelight.
The cellar also houses a wine museum, the unique Vinotèque Wine Bank, and has an attractively stocked Fine Wine Shop. Guided cellar tours are conducted daily, except on Sundays and religious holidays.
Tour times are Monday – Friday at 10h00, 11h00 and 15h00 and Saturdays at 10h00, 11h00 and 12h00. Tour bookings are advisable as tour sizes are limited to ensure a quality experience.
