Robben Island is known for being the place where former South African President, Nelson Mandela was jailed for 18 of his 27 years. You will get to explore this most famous island prison in the world, on this half-day tour from Cape Town. Go deep into Nelson Mandela's history and impact on the world through your guide's commentary as you have a look around the historic site. End off your day on top of Table Mountain, one of the 7natural wonders of the world. It is the most iconic landmark of South Africa and the country's most photographed attraction. Day 2: Private: Full-Day Tour Cape Peninsula. Your Tour Guide will start your tour by visiting Bo-Kaap (colourful houses), Camps Bay, and Houtbay, Chapmans Peak Drive (if open) is one of the most beautiful roads in the world. Your journey of discovery continues towards Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope (the extreme southwestern tip of the African continent). From there to Simon’s Town where you will get to visit Boulders Beach and get up close to penguins. Your tour will continue toward Fish Hoek (one of the most popular beaches in Cape Town). From Fish Hoek, your tour heads back towards Cape Town via Boyes Drive where you will have a panoramic view of False Bay and Muizenberg Beach. Day 3: Explore the wine regions of the picturesque Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl with breathtaking views and taste some of the world's finest wines. Visit 3 Top Wine Estates, optional 4th (time permitting) at no extra cost to guests. You have the option of taking a stroll along the main road of Franschhoek. This quaint little town with centuries-old vineyards and Cape Dutch architecture. Photo opportunity at the famous Franschhoek monument and at Nelson Mandela's statue. Day 4: Full-day tour to Aquila Game Reserve to experience a Big5 Safari. This is another highlight of your tour. Explore Aquila Game Reserve, recognized as a major Cape Town tourist attraction. Look for elephants, lions, elusive leopards, Cape buffalo, rhinos and other wildlife on a private game reserve just a couple of hours’ drive from Cape Town. Enjoy comfortable transfers, direct from your door, then join a shared or private game drive on arrival. Enjoy a welcome drink and a delicious buffet lunch on arrival. The safari is led by an experienced guide who will share inside stories and facts about your surroundings. You will spend several hours on a Safari. You will then embark on your safari in an open shared safari vehicle accompanied by an experienced Aquila Game Reserve guide who will share interesting facts and information about the animals.
