Description

The tour begins with a pick up from your accommodation in a shared vehicle with your designated professional tour guide. Explore the city centre of Cape Town as your tour guide gives you a brief history of the monumental stautes and buildings along the drive. After the brief city orientation we make our first stop in Bo-Kaap. Admire the different shades of colourful houses symbolising a historical significance for the Cape Malay people. Don't forget to take a picture next to them. Leaving Bo-Kaap we drive along the enchanting Athlantic Seaboard passing through Bantry Bay, Camps Bay Beach and making a stop at Maiden's Cove. A photo opportunity presents itself of the picturesque views of the majestic 12 apostle mountains forming a cove around the athlantic ocean. This is known as the Kodak moment. We journey on to Hout Bay affording you a wonderful encounter with the boisterous seals of Seal Island. An option to visit Seal Island via a boat cruise presents iself (fees not included) or to amuse yourself with the diverse markets of Hout Bay. If you do decide to stay behind, a must have delicacy is the tasty fish and chips from Marina's Wharf. We depart Hout Bay for a drive along the scenic route of Chapmans Peak, making a stop for a photo opportunity of the enchanting views. Beautuful landscapes of ocean and the mountains surrounding it meets the eyes view. Driviing along the Pensuila route we make our next brief stop in Noordhoek which houses the exquisite village Roast. Grab a c cup of well brewed coffee at your own account. The tour culminates with a visit to the Cape of Good Hope nature reserve. Enjoy this exciting excursion spotting wild animals such as Zebra's, baboons and bucks from the vehicle. Along the drive we pass by the historically significant Diaz and Da Gamma statues and we make a stop at the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point sign boards. These sign boards mark a point of reference indicating the joining of the two ocean currents. At Cape Point an option to take a Dutchman Flying Fanicular to the light house or hiking up presents itself. Departing Cape of Good Hope we make our way to Boulders beach to have a friendly encounter with the Boulders African Penguin Colony, housing over 2500 penguins in their natural habitat. After spending some time with the penguins we leave Boulders Beach, driving along the scenic route of Simons Town, Kalk Bay and Muizenburg. We make our last stop at St James Beach offering a picture opportunity next to the colourful Cabanas. The tour comes to an end with a drop off at your accommodation.
