Description

After pick up, your 8-hour private tour starts with a visit to Table Mountain, Africa’s gem, where you’ll be taken to the top via a cableway. A special stop is made at Beau Constantia wine estate at the Chef's warehouse or Laparada restaurant where guests have the option to enjoy a delicious lunch at their own expense. Thereafter, you will stop at Maidens Cove to view Camps Bay beach, the Twelve Apostel mountain range and the opulent penthouses of Camps Bay. After Maidens cove, you will continue along the coast via Queen Victoria rd pass the famous twelves apostles hotel to join the Constantia Wine route over the Nek. Not too far from the old fishing village of Hout Bay, you will make your first wine tasting stop at Constantia Glen Vineyards. What is interesting about this estate is its panoramic view and its ultra-premium, cool climate wines produced here. This is where you can begin your wine tasting expedition! The next stop after lunch is the Groot Constantia wine estate, an estate which dates back to 1685. It is the oldest Wine farm in South Africa. People who visit this estate always rave about their Cape Ruby, however there are other vintage Groot Constantia wines that will leave your palette dancing! Here you can enjoy a chocolate and wine pairing. After Groot Constantia, your tour ends at Steenberg Estate for their flagship wine tasting befor the drop-off back to your hotel.
