Arnold's Restaurant is a Cape Town institution, and if you don't believe us, just ask anyone who's been around in the city since the late nineties. It was founded back in 1999, and still to this day it continues to draw a fantastic mix of regular and new clients.
Much of its success has to do with its perfect location opposite the historic Mount Nelson Hotel and on the bustling Kloof Street - perfect for attracting passer-bys taking in the hedonistic charm that enshrouds this unique part of the city.
Arnold's has an unpretentious and 'local neighbourhood spot' feel to it, and they serve up a perfect mixture of local and international flavours in a simple but tasty manner. There is also an outdoor seated area with magnificent views of Table Mountain, and for colder days, there's a warm, well-lit and romantic dining area inside.
It's a restaurant that has entrenched itself in the heart of the Cape Town dining scene, and whether you're looking for a long breakfast to cure that lingering hangover, a quick coffee on your way to work, or a famous burger and beer as you contemplate your night on the town, you can't go wrong with a trip to good old Arnolds.
