Bertha's Restaurant
Capetown
Bertha’s Restaurant is situated in Simon’s Town on the water’s edge. The naval harbour and the yachting harbour provide an interesting backdrop for a good meal. Local seafood features and the menu is gentle and reasonable. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed and the food is really tasty.
Bertha’s provides a great place to have lunch while exploring Simon’s Town. It’s pretty popular, so booking is advisable. The menu caters for all appetites and the portions are extremely decent. My favourite here for a lunch has to be the hamburger.
Enjoy a lazy afternoon cocktail or a decent cup of tea while watching the sun set in this beautiful working harbour. Simon's Town is one of the oldest Town's in the Cape and it's Naval history goes back to the British Navy that investigated this to be an alternative to the now very loved Cape Town harbour.
