For all intents and purposes, Cape Gate is a dip in and dip out shopping mall, however the likes of Ocean Basket have kept patrons coming back more often, and for longer. For a number of years now Ocean Basket has been one of South Africa's top seafood restaurants, and with restaurants throughout the country, patrons have returned in order to find a familiar setting with the same service, prices and menus that they see throughout the chain of restaurants. At present there are more than 160 Ocean Basket restaurants around the country, and as such there's seldom a time when you won't be within a short drive away from one.
Everything from unique sushi, right through to the familiar old favourite fish and chips are dished up, and even the most conservative and adventurous diners will find something to eat.
It's not surprising that Ocean Basket has built up a firm following of loyal patrons, and they have now been in operation since the early 2000s.
