One of Cape Town's most celebrated restaurants, is idyllically located in the heart of the Mother City's beautiful Constantia Valley, on the slopes of Table Mountain and as part of the Cellars-Hohenort. There, all the rooms and suites boast spectacular views of the treasured mountain, and the beautiful gardens surrounding the estate. It is set in more than 9 acres beautiful gardens, and the historically significant, beautiful country escape in the city offers guests far more than just incredible scenery.

The Greenhouse restaurant is at the core of these offerings, as the passion project of owner Liz McGrath reveals itself after more than twenty years of hard work and inspiration. The restaurant showcases the cuisine of one of Cape Town's most celebrated chefs in Peter Tempelhoff, and the tasting menus on offer are all inspired by the locally available produce and the diverse cultures that define South Africa.

Tempelhoff has expertly balanced his international experience and styles with a range of the best local ingredients and flavours, which has resulted in dishes that never fail to please and surprise guests.

There are 3 tasting menus on offer as well as an à la carte menu, which are all expertly paired with wines from the surrounding Constantia and Cape wine region

Seating is limited to just 45 people, and as such getting a seat is never easy. But this approach ensures that each guest gets the most personalised and intimate dining affair.

What results from this, is a dining experience like none other, and you will leave with little doubt as to why this is regularly regarded as one of the city's top dining establishments.
