Afruka Eco Tours specialise in personalised trips to various locations of natural beauty in South Africa. Based out of Cape Town Afruka Eco Tours is run by Kevin a Scottish Capetonian who´s passion for nature and enthusiasm for local history and culture shines through in his trips.
Tour groups are limited to a maximum of 4-6 people, as what you are receiving is a very unique private experience. Day packages include collection from your accommodation, refreshments and entrance into parks as well as the experience of your guide. A few of the popular tours available include West Coast National Park, walking around Cape Point, Table Mountain and Kirstenbosh botanical gardens but to really create the perfect package it is worth discussing with Kevin what you like doing and no doubt he will have the perfect suggestion.
We went on a tour to the !Khwa ttu San Nature Reserve, where the San people (South Africa´s first residents) teach you about their heritage, traditions and lives both past and present. Having a guide allows you to go on trips and walks that you would either not know about or feel a lot more confident doing with a guide present. Kevin actually made our trip, with his good hearted nature, knowledge and passion for the outdoors; we found the whole experience a pleasure.
So if you like walking, nature, camping and natural beauty then Afruka Eco Tours is for you.
