Rustenberg Wines
Capetown
Rustenberg, founded in 1682, has been owned by the Barlow family since 1940. The farm has a rich history of winemaking that is wrapped up in tradition yet modern techniques govern the way wine is made.
Rustenberg Wines endeavours to compete with the best in the world but is fully aware of the challenge that this brings and so continues to invest in people, fruit and the latest technology / methods to better prepare the generations that follow.
Of utmost importance to everybody involved with the business is that Rustenberg evolves with time, focusing on consumer preferences and tastes while maintaining an own identity through the style of wine to the manner in which our valued friends are treated. This vision is linked to the sustainability of the land the farm occupies and the overall carbon footprint it delivers.
Visitors will experience the tranquility that goes with a farm of 1200 Hectares and enjoy the peace and quiet that nature lovingly bestows upon this wondrous spot.
As a “take home” souvenir friends of the farm are encouraged to stop by the tasting centre, sample the fruits of labour and hopefully enjoy the wine so much that they take home their preference and share with their friends who in turn feel encouraged to experience the wonder at Rustenberg. So, if you’re in the mood for tranquility, want to experience rural Stellenbosch and enjoy wine in the company of people who make it their business to please you, then make your way to Rustenberg Wines in Stellenbosch, still the closest farm to the Stellenbosch Post Office and enjoy the wonder that is Rustenberg.
Rustenberg is also the proud producer of the vibrant Brampton range of wines with their lively livery and varietal appeal.
