Description

Start with pickup between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Begin the tour with a photo opportunity stop at Camps Bay drive viewpoint. This spot is known for its stunning views of the Twelve Apostles Mountain Range and overlooks the beaches of Camps Bay. Continue along the windy, mountainous roads to the old Dutch and British fishing village of Hout Bay. Not too far from the harbour is the famous Chapmans Peak Drive. This route is renowned as one of the best mountain drives in the world. From the various lookout points, see the unspoiled beach of Noordhoek, Hout Bay Harbour, and the Seal colony. In June to November keep a lookout for dolphins and Southern right whales. Afterwards, travel to see African penguins, unique to Cape Town, which inhabit the beautiful and pristine Boulders Beach. Take in the sight of the beach, which makes for some more excellent photos. Thereafter, the tour continues to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. The reserve is host to the most South-Western point of the African continent where you will have an opportunity to walk around on sea level or hike for a panoramic view on the top of the mountain. Not too far from the Cape of Good Hope, see the warm and cold ocean currents meeting at Cape Point Lighthouse, where you can enjoy a bite to eat before exploring further. After a day spent exploring, enjoy the relaxing coastal journey back to Cape Town via the Boyes drive in Muizenberg which has stunning views of the False Bay coast. This is also a good spot to watch surfers, local and international, tackling Cape Town’s waves.
