Madame Zingara
Capetown
At a glance
Madame Zingara is back in Cape Town with her 10 Years of Dreams tour! The show is back, bigger and better than ever before. As always, Madame is very popular, and so booking iss essential.
For those not familiar with the Madame Zingara concept, think about the most unusual, extravagant and out-there party ever, multiply it by ten, and then add a few midgets, drag queens, foreign circus acts, and a show that will leave you as amazed as totally dumfounded. Couple that all with a celebrated menu (and amazing service to boot), and you'll leave this wonder land buzzing with a new found vigour for the unusual.
Madame Zingara now travels the country, but has found what appears to be a semi-permanent home on the V&A Waterfront premises. The one of a kind mirrored circus tent is the venue for all the evenings antics, and the simple yet unique menu is dished up throughout a truly captivating show taking place in the middle of it all. The food comes fast and efficiently from expert waiters, the show is literally spellbinding, and, in all, you'll leave the tent wondering what the hell just happened, and how can you get more of it.
The shows book up many weeks in advance, and no walk-ins are allowed, so call ahead and plan to have an evening to remember, be it a small dinner with a few friends, or a large corporate function.
