World-class master chef Nobuyuki ‘Nobu’ Matsuhisa expands his eponymous empire with the debut of his first restaurant in Africa.
No stranger to worldly culinary influences, Nobu gives classical Japanese cuisine a contemporary twist. Diners can indulge in fresh South African seafood and indigenous spices in mesmerising dishes such as Sake Roast Kingklip with Sansho Salsa or the Chocolate Bento Box; a dark chocolate fondant with green tea ice cream and a sesame seed tuile.
The upper level Nobu bar features a selection of Sakes including plum wines, Japanese beer and a selection of Sake and Shochu based cocktails.

Start your evening with a Nobu Cocktail and Tacos for only R50. If Tequila is your tipple of choice, choose a Hachimitsu Margarita with honey, fresh ginger and lime; or a Kyoto Classique made with sparkling wine and topped with Sake and Lychee Liqueur. Each cocktail is served with two Sashimi Tacos topped with chopped red onion and fresh coriander accompanied by a spicy tomato salsa.

Consisting of Sashimi Salad, Seafood Ceviche, Assorted Sushi, Tiger Shrimp Tempura, Rock Shrimp style, Spicy Vegetables with Steamed Rice, Whitefish Teriyaki and dessert, this special offer is available from 6pm to 11pm Sundays to Thursdays and 6pm to 7.30pm on Fridays and Saturdays, for just R195 per person.
