Milnerton Golf Course is a seaside 18-hole course which is located 10 minutes north of the city of Cape Town. This beautiful golf course sports a par 72 and offers a both sensory pleasure and a few challenges as well. There is the South Easter - a ferocious breeze of note - to contend with in the summer months.
The Milnerton Golf Course is magnifecntly located between the harsh cold Atlantic and the RietVlei river. there are very few trees on the course and it is a links-type course that is relatively flat. There is a lot of water around this course - and 7 water holes waiting to claim the wayward shot as well.
Starting with the Atlantic ocean on your left, you will play the first 6 bordering the ocean before starting moving toward the lagoon where you will be able to enjoy a light meal at the halfway house. you will make you way back through the next 9.
Probably the highlight of this course is the sound of the waves breaking on the shore just metres away. Teeing off on the 12th with the ocean on your right facing Table Mountain will remain long after your game is over.
The 19th Hole is located a few metres from the beach. Relax in comfort and reflect on your game while chatting with your mates. This is golf...in Cape Town....
