Description
Let’s Explore the Weskus!
Join our exclusive tour for an experience that not only highlights the breathtaking beauty of the Cape but also celebrates the enduring spirit of its people.
The exclusive Postberg area of the West Coast National Park bursts open for visitors only in August and September - just in time to witness a dazzling, vibrant tapestry of wildflowers. From the classic favourite daisy to gems like orchids, vygies, irises, and viooltjies, every step brings a new surprise.
Our day starts in Cape Town before we head to !Khwa ttu Nature Reserve to learn about the rich culture of the ancient San people. We’ll accompany you to fascinating sites where every moment is a tribute to the past. Embrace an adventure where every step tells a story, and every sight leaves you in awe, gaining fresh insight into an ancient way of life.
Next, we venture to the stunning West Coast National Park, a treasure trove of scenic views and wildlife. This picturesque landscape creates a serene backdrop for exploration and appreciation of nature’s beauty. Be amazed at beautiful fields of spring personified. As our day delightfully unfolds, we pause to soak in the sights and sounds of the park, capturing memories that will last a lifetime.
The West Coast National Park is also home to the replica of 'Eve's Footprint'. Discovered in 1995 at Kraalbaai, these prints are unmistakable human footfalls fossilised in rock (formerly sea sand) and are said to have belonged to a young woman who lived 117 000 years ago. This makes them the oldest known footprints of an anatomically modern human.
Finally, we return to Cape Town, filled with the charm of the region and the warmth of new experiences.
We look forward to sharing this special adventure with you!
