The Pavilion Restaurant is is located in the Marine Hotel in Hermanus and overlooks Walker Bay. The view is exceptional. Between June and December one can expect to view the whales in the Bay. The black and white checkerboard floor refelcting light from the candles, or the ocean, creates a dining expereince not easily forgotten. The magnificent wall and ceiling lamps in this elegant restaurant are the originals which once graced the Bathing Pavilion at Muizenberg Beach in Cape Town.
The Pavilion serves a variety of contemporary South African cuisine which is creatively done. Open Tuesday to Saturday for dinner and every morning for breakfast.
