After having been collected from your Cape Town accommodation, we make our way to the second-oldest town in South Africa, Stellenbosch. This 'Village of the Oak' is distinguished by its shady oak avenues, which you can admire as you walk the oldest street of Stellenbosch and admire the charm and harmony of the Cape Dutch Architecture. Discover where Simon Van Der Stel set up his camp on the bank of the Eerste River and why it is called the Eerste river. Later, view some of the historical building around the Braak. You'll then visit the Lanzerac Wine Estate, which is home to the world's first bottled Pinotage and one of the oldest heritage farms in the Western Cape, dating back to 1692. Tantalize your taste buds whilst enjoying a wine and chocolate pairing with a selection of artisan chocolate and expand your knowledge of some of the most unique wines in the world. You'll also view the wine and maturation cellars of Lanzerac old wine farm. Our last visit we head in the heart of the picturesque Jonkershoek valley at Stark Conde boutique winery for a wine tasting with 360 degree views of the valley.
