Look for elephants, lions, leopards, Cape buffalo, and rhinos on a private game reserve just a couple of hours’ drive from Cape Town. Enjoy comfortable private transfers, direct from your door, then join a shared or private game drive on arrival. A private game drive is available at an extra cost of +-R2900 for the vehicle (maximum 8 pax). Their entrance fee includes a complimentary glass of wine/champagne/grape juice (extra drinks are for your own account). Before your game drive enjoy a lavish buffet lunch with some of South Africa's favourite dishes. Thereafter, embark on your 2-3 hour game drive with a professional game ranger at the helm. The game drive is not private - there are approximately 14 pax per vehicle. You will spend several hours on a Safari at Aquila Private Game Reserve, home to the “Big Five” game animal. Everything is planned: your tour guide will pick you up and drop you off again at your hotel. Your tour guide will share interesting facts about the areas/towns en route to the Game Reserve. The bio-diverse habitat of the reserve ensures plenty of interest for the avid game viewer and bird watcher. Spot giraffes, blesbok, black and blue wildebeest, zebras, springbok, gemsbok, klipspringers, duikers, greybuck, steenbok, ostriches, baboons, caracals, foxes, jackals, and more. Upon your return, your tour guide will transport you back to your accommodation via the famous Huguenot Tunnel. Drop off at your hotel/accommodation at approximately 18h30. Aquila Game Reserve do its utmost best to ensure that you see all the Big 5 animals, but since these are wild animals there is no guarantee that you will see them all.
